What does physiotherapist do?
Physiotherapists work with a big variety of physical
problems associated with the neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and
respiratory systems. They may work alone with other physiotherapists or with hospitals/clinics.
Normally they are associated with orthopaedics.
How to choose your physiotherapist?
• Firstly check whether your physio has done degree or diploma.
• Check whether your physio is registered with IAP (Indian Association of Physiotherapist) or not. You can ask for his registration number with IAP.
• You can ask for his field of specialisation or experience.
